Guides: how to edit

There are many ways to montage stuff together and many applications for the style. Whether editorial art, artwork for bands or, as we’ll be looking at, a promotional flyer.

Step 1 – Title

Inside the TITLE folder you will find several smart object layers, to edit them Just double click on the layer thumbnail and it will open up a new document with the text editable.  When you have changed it you will need to simply (PC: Ctrl+S or MAC: Command+S) save it. (more detailed steps shown below)Step-1-–-Title

Once you double click on the smart object thumnail the editable file opens in a new document as shown, then next with the text tool edit the words and change to the theme of your choice as shown on box 2.
(If the words spreads further then the document size then simply scale the words within the document)Step-1-Title-edit


Step 2 – Picture

The PICTURE folder has a layer mask wich you can place any photo inside this folder and it will automatically keep it within the background shape just insert desired picture then scale, adjust and done.(more detailed steps shown below)Step-2-Picture

Place the new desired picture inside the picture folder with the layer mask and you will notice the picture stays within the layer mask shape, all needed to do is scale the picture accordingly.Step-2-Picture2


Step 3 – DATE

The DATE folder has the text editable layers just use the text tool to edit and change the date accordingly.
(Note: Some of the DATE Layers may be as a smart object so just follow step 1 to edit.)Step-3-DATE



The INFORMATION folder has the text editable layers, use the text tool to edit and change the information .Step-4--INFORMATION



The BACKGROUND folder contains all the background design layers thats shown on the flyer templates from backdrops, light effects and miscellaneous images.
(Note: Some of the Images may be as as a smart object so just follow step 1 to edit.)Step-5--BACKGROUND
